Finally understand why everyone raves about air suspension over here

I've been living in Dubai for about six years now and I've always driven cars with traditional steel springs, never really understanding what all the fuss was about when people went on and on about air suspension being a game-changer. I just assumed it was one of those luxury features that rich people liked to brag about but didn't actually make that much difference in real-world driving. Well, I recently bought a used Mercedes S-Class that came with air suspension as standard, and honestly, I feel like a complete idiot for dismissing it all these years. The difference is genuinely night and day – the way it soaks up those awful potholes on Al Khail Road, the way it stays perfectly level even when I've got the boot loaded up with luggage for a weekend trip, and the way it just glides over speed bumps that used to make my old car shudder. I've been telling all my friends about it and trying to explain why it's such a big deal, and I actually found myself reading up on why car air suspension is worth it in Dubai just so I could articulate it better to them. The heat resistance and durability aspects are something I never even considered before, but apparently these systems are designed to handle extreme temperatures much better than I realized. I'm genuinely curious now whether anyone else had a similar experience where they were skeptical at first but completely changed their mind after actually trying it? I'm already thinking about what my next car will be and I honestly don't think I could go back to standard suspension now – it would feel like such a downgrade after experiencing this level of comfort.
